Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli is not looking for new players as he believes the squad is complete.

Manager Kenny Dalglish has brought in seven new players over the summer, while selling or releasing 11.

Owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have spent around 拢35m net since taking over in October 2010.

And Comolli said: "I would really struggle to say we need something because I think we have such a complete squad at the moment."

FSG are desperate to get Liverpool back into the Premier League's top four to ensure qualification for the Champions League after finishing seventh in 2011 and and sixth in 2010.

And Comolli added: "We want to see how we're going to do [with these players].

"We are very pleased with what we've done during this window and the previous one as well.

"For me, it's like a big window from January until 31 August and, in total, we brought in nine players.

"We changed the team and changed the squad, so it's the time to reflect.

"Let's see how those players develop, how they gel together, how young players like Sebastian Coates adapt.

"Then we can make a decision [on areas to strengthen] later."

Comolli continued: "It's not a work for one season, it's a work for two, three, four seasons, especially when you are investing in young players, as we have done."
