Swansea City have released striker Craig Beattie and midfielder Tom Butler.
Neither has played for the Swans in the Premier League and according to the club they have left by "mutual consent".
A Swansea City website statement read: "It was agreed to release the pair early from their contracts, which were due to expire this summer."
Beattie joined for a then-record fee of 拢800,000 from West Brom in 2009.
But since new record signing Danny Graham arrived ahead of their debut Premier League season, the Scottish international, who scored seven times in 45 Championship appearances, has been omitted.
Northern Ireland international Butler signed from Hartlepool in 2006 and went on to score nine times in 126 league appearances.
Butler helped the Welsh club rise from League One to the Championship in 2007 and was the hero that year when they beat then-Premier League side Sheffield United 2-0 in the FA Cup.
However, injury prevented him from aiding the Swans' 2010-11 quest for promotion to the Premier League.
The Swans statement added: "The club would like to thank both players for their service and wish them well for the future."
