Kettering defender Ashley Westwood is one of three players to have agreed a move to Lincoln City.

The former Manchester United trainee, 35, was player-caretaker manager at Kettering last season and has signed a one-year contract at Sincil Bank.

Grimsby striker Rob Duffy, 29, and Nuneaton midfielder Gary Mills, 31, have also signed one-year deals.

Meanwhile, the Imps have given one-year contract extensions to midfielder Peter Bore and defender Paul Robson.

Westwood, who helped Bradford win promotion to the Premier League in 1999, became caretaker manager at Kettering in January and is keen to help his new side both on and off the pitch.

"I'll still be playing in the Conference Premier so it's a good opportunity to go up there and try and help as much as I can on the field," he told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Northampton.

"But I'll also get involved with as much stuff off the field as well.

"Kettering are still not certain of their future to be honest - what league they're going to be in, whether they'll be in administration or not - with that pending I didn't really have a decision to make to be honest."
