Ritchie Jeune has been confirmed as the new chairman of Kettering Town.

He had been acting as chairman since predecessor George Rolls was banned last month from football for five years for breaches of betting rules.

The charges related to the 2007 to 2010 period when Rolls was chairman of Cambridge United and also associated with Weymouth.

Kettering are currently preparing for the start of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier season under manager John Beck.

The club was relegated from the Blue Square Bet Premier last season amid serious financial problems and decided to drop two divisions.

In June, creditors approved a Company Voluntary Arrangement which was intended to lead to a transfer of ownership from Imraan Ladak to Rolls.

However, Ladak currently remains owner as a result of the latter's ban.
