Craig Beattie: Barnet sign former St Johnstone striker

League Two side Barnet have completed the signing of former West Brom and Swansea striker Craig Beattie, subject to international clearance.

The 29-year-old was a free agent after leaving Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone last month.

Beattie failed to score in four appearances for the Perth club.

The Scotland international began his career at Celtic and has also had spells at Preston, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Watford and Hearts.
