Striker Andy Bishop has signed a two-year deal with Wrexham as he returns after a successful loan spell to the Racecourse.

Bishop played four games on loan for Wrexham, scoring twice, in 2012 before he was recalled to Bury.

"I'm delighted that it is all settled," said Wrexham player-manager Andy Morrell.

Bishop, 30, will boost a Dragons squad which has its sights set on a return to the Football League.

"Everyone knows that I have been keen to bring Bish back and over the weekend we got wind that it might happen.

"We have pushed hard over the last few days and this afternoon it has all come together.

"I'm really pleased to get a player who is a proven goalscorer at many levels in the game and will only add to the quality squad we have here.

"He knows us from his loan stint and will fit right in."

Bishop has played over 350 senior games during stints at Walsall, Kidderminster Harriers and York City.
