Millwall 2-1 AFC Wimbledon

  • Published

Second-half goals from Andy Keogh and Martyn Woolford helped Millwall past AFC Wimbledon in the League Cup.

Keogh put the hosts ahead after Wimbledon goalkeeper Ross Worner raced out of his goal, but dropped the ball as momentum took him out of the area.

Woolford doubled the advantage, firing home a deflected Jermaine Easter cross.

Luke Moore pulled one back in the final minute, before debutant Lions goalkeeper Stephen Bywater denied Jack Midson an injury-time equaliser.
