Striker Danielle Carter scored twice as Arsenal won 6-0 at Doncaster Belles to move within two points of Women's Super League leaders Liverpool.
Three goals in four first-half minutes, from defender Gilly Flaherty, midfielder Jordan Nobbs and Carter, set the visitors on the road to the win.
And second half strikes by winger Ellen White, Carter and captain Steph Houghton sealed the convincing victory.
Reigning champions Arsenal have now won their last six league matches.
The Gunners, who are bidding for a third successive WSL title, also have a game in hand on leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal built up the pressure and went ahead through a well-placed Flaherty header from playmaker Kim Little's 29th-minute corner.
The lead was doubled two minutes later as Nobbs produced an exquisite chip over goalkeeper Nicola Davies.
And a further 60 seconds later Carter scored the third after pouncing on the ball in a goalmouth scramble.
The game was as good as won, but any lingering doubts were ended when White struck home the fourth goal 22 minutes into the second half.
Five minutes later Carter hit goal number five and midfielder Houghton, with a superb 25-yard free-kick 14 minutes from time, completed the scoring.
