Salisbury City 4-2 Dartford

Dan Fitchett scored twice as Salisbury won an entertaining FA cup first-round tie against Dartford.

Fitchett slotted home the opener from close in and the lead was quickly doubled when Ben Wright blasted into the roof of the net.

Elliott Frear drilled home a Fitchett cross to make it three before Lee Burns's volley gave the Darts hope.

Fitchett's header made the tie safe for the Whites before Max Cornhill side-footed in a late consolation.

"We've got a fantastic home record and I was delighted that we carried that on with a whirlwind first 20 minutes.

"We managed to give ourselves a great chance to go and win the game after getting three early goals.

"At the moment, confidence is sky high. I'm pleased for the lads, they deserve it for the way they work.

"We'll see what tomorrow brings. I just hope we can get a good draw."

Dartford manager Tony Burman told 大象传媒 Radio Kent:

"There was some kamikaze defending. It was schoolboy stuff. It wasn't anything to do with the back four as a unit, but individually it was dreadful defending.

"You can't defend the way we did. We spoke about it all week and we had too many players doing their own thing and not doing what they were asked to do.

"I can take a positive away from the midfield three, but you try something, and if people are not capable of doing it, you have to think about it."
