Carlisle: Hull defender Conor Townsend wants January return
Hull City defender Conor Townsend hopes a deal can be agreed to let him rejoin Carlisle United on loan in January.
The 20-year-old left-back before extending the deal until 4 December.
But he cannot stay any longer because he joined Carlisle on an emergency loan deal and by this date he will have spent the maximum 93 days with them.
"It's so disappointing that I have to leave. I'd love to be back in January, hopefully it can be sorted," he said.
Townsend has made just one substitute appearance for his hometown club, but has had previous loan spells at and Chesterfield.
Since joining the Cumbrians, he has played in all but one of their 14 matches he has been available for.
"I've loved every minute here, it's been brilliant playing every week," he told 大象传媒 Radio Cumbria.
"I think I have improved with each match so to disrupt that now is very frustrating.
"The experience of playing for this club will stick with me for my whole career."
