John Gregory: Crawley boss exits six months after heart surgery
Crawley Town have parted company with manager John Gregory.
The 60-year-old, appointed in December 2013, has spent the past six months recuperating after heart surgery.
Former Wales international Dean Saunders took over on an interim basis in December but was unable to save the club from relegation to League Two.
"I would like to thank the board of directors for standing by me and supporting me during the very difficult time I endured," said Gregory.
"I hope that the Crawley Town fans stand by their team and help to bring back the glory days again very soon."
Gregory, who has also managed Aston Villa, QPR, Derby County and Wycombe Wanderers, won six caps for England as a midfielder.
Saunders, 50, told 大象传媒 Sussex earlier this month he was unsure whether he would be in charge of the club next season.
