Manchester City: Megan Campbell joins Women's Super League side

Manchester City Women have signed Republic of Ireland defender Megan Campbell.

The 22-year-old has spent the past three years playing for Florida State University on a sports scholarship.

Campbell, who has won 33 international caps, has previously featured for Irish clubs St Francis and Raheny United.

"Once I got word City were interested, I came straight over and once I did, it was something I knew I'd love to be part of," she told
