Joe Rodon: Injured Swansea City and Wales defender likely to miss rest of season

Swansea City's Joe Rodon is likely to miss the rest of the season after suffering an ankle injury in training.
Wales international Rodon, 22, is a key man for club and country and his loss is a heavy blow to Swansea's play-off hopes.
The defender has recently been linked with a move to both Manchester clubs.
"It's really bad luck for Joe and for us, we were looking forward to having him back," Swansea boss Steve Cooper told 大象传媒 Sport Wales.
"I think it has more or less ruled him out for the season as there is only three weeks left.
"He picked in training on Sunday. It's a fresh injury - it's not a reoccurrence. It was a complete accident and it has fallen on the wrong boy because obviously he's suffered with injuries over the past couple of years and worked so hard to get back."
There was a further blow for Swansea during Tuesday's game at Millwall as another central defender, Ben Wilmot, was forced off injured in the second half.
"If you're going to pick up an injury today the last position you wanted it to be is at centre-back," Cooper added.
"We are not sure the extent of Ben's injury, he is still limping around. We will have to see what it looks like in the next day or two, but it didn't look too good."
Academy product Rodon has starred for Swansea since breaking into the senior side at the start of the 2018-19 season.
But he missed almost two months of that campaign with a broken foot and he was out for three months earlier this season after ankle surgery.
He missed Swansea's first post-lockdown game, at Middlesbrough 10 days ago, with a thigh strain before returning to the bench for last Saturday's loss to Luton Town.
Swansea are already without another long-term injury victim, Mike van der Hoorn, although the Dutchman has recently returned to training.
Should Wilmot face a spell out as well, youngsters Ben Cabango and Marc Guehi would be the only options for Cooper in central defence.
