Crawley Town midfielder Dannie Bulman, the English Football League's oldest player, has signed a one-year extension that means he will still be kicking a ball in the EFL at the age of 42.

Bulman, currently 41, has agreed a player-coach deal with Crawley, where he has made more than 300 appearances.

"Dannie is a crucial member of the team and brings years of experience into the dressing room," said boss John Yems.

Town have also signed veteran defender Tony Craig, 35, on a two-year deal.

The former Millwall and Brentford centre-back has made more than 500 appearances across the Football League's three divisions and was released by League One side Bristol Rovers this summer.

Yems added: "Tony and I go back a long time from our days at Millwall - he brings a wealth of experience to the squad, he's a good example to have around."

Additionally, Crawley have brought in midfielder Tyler Frost and left-back Archie Davies, both 21, on two-year deals after their releases by Reading and Brighton respectively.

Frost did not play a senior game for the Royals, while Davies made one Seagulls appearance in a Carabao Cup loss to Aston Villa in September 2019.

League Two side Crawley also have the option of a third year on Davies' deal.
