Cymru Premier runners-up The New Saints will host MSK Zilina of Slovakia in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

Bala Town have been drawn away against Valletta of Malta.

Both are one-off ties and will be played on 27 August.

Barry Town United had already been drawn away against NSI Runavik in the preliminary round, and the winners of that tie will visit Aberdeen in the first round.

Barry face Faroe Islands side Runavik in a one-off tie on 20 August.

Teams have to navigate three qualifying rounds and a further play-off round to secure their place in the Europa League itself.

New Saints manager Scott Ruscoe was playing for the 13-time Welsh champions when they last faced Slovakian opposition in the second round of Champions League qualifying in 2014.

"We've had first-hand experience of Slovan Bratislava, a game I came on in a few years ago, so we know about the experience these teams have in Europe," Ruscoe told 大象传媒 Sport Wales.

"I read just after the draw that they [Zilina] are well into their season, about three games in, so they'll have that fitness and experience over us.

"In Europe as well they've had a few good wins, Athletic Bilbao [in 2015], so they've got good pedigree.

"They finished last season 10 points behind Bratislava [who won the Slovakian title], so they're not that far behind them, and they're a very good side.

"We went away and lost 1-0 and got beaten 2-0 at home [to Slovan Bratislava], so we're well aware of the standard of the league and the standard of Zilina."
