Rumarn Burrell made his Middlesbrough debut as a late substitute last week in his side's FA Cup loss at Brentford

Middlesbrough striker Rumarn Burrell has signed for Bradford City on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old joins the League Two side after just one substitute appearance for Boro in the FA Cup since moving from Grimsby in 2019.

He played four games as a substitute for the Mariners in League Two at the end of the 2018-19 season but has yet to start a senior match.

Burrell has four goals in 11 games for Boro's Under 23's this season.

"I have a lot of experience in the Under 23's but am desperate to play first-team football and be a part of Bradford City, so feel I have made the right decision," Burrell told the Bantams website.

"This is my first loan move and will be a challenge, but I feel ready and am looking forward to hopefully scoring some goals."

Meanwhile, Bradford defender Finn Cousin-Dawson has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 18-year-old has made 12 appearances this season after his debut against Doncaster in the Papa John's Trophy in September.

"I was desperate to get it done and make sure I stay at the club for a lot longer,"

"It shows all young players coming through our academy now that there is a pathway at the football club."
