Derby County: Scott Carson, Scott Malone and Florian Jozefzoon released by Championship club
Former England goalkeeper Scott Carson has not been offered a new contract by Championship side Derby County.
Carson, 35, who counts West Brom, Leeds and Liverpool among his former clubs, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Premier League Manchester City.
Defender Scott Malone, 30 and winger Florian Jozefzoon, 30, have also not been offered new terms.
But the Rams are in talks with Andre Wisdom, Martyn Waghorn, Jack Marriott and Curtis Davies about new deals.
Derby have been prevented from extending striker Marriott's contract due to an ongoing Football League registration embargo.
The club announced Marriott's new deal on 16 October as he joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan.
But in their retained list the Rams said the registration approval had been "withdrawn" by the EFL in December.
大象传媒 Sport understands the terms of the embargo led the EFL to their decision. Derby say they have been in discussions with the EFL and Marriott's representatives since January.
However, with no completed deal in place, Marriott will be out of contract at the end of the month and free to leave Pride Park.
Malone, meanwhile, spent last season on loan at Millwall and has agreed a permanent move to Derby's fellow Championship club.
Goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, who spent last season on loan at Northampton, is among the list of academy players
Derby await appeal decision
Derby are also waiting to discover their punishment after the EFL won an appeal relating to the amortisation used by the club to assess the valuation of their squad within their Financial Fair Play submissions.
大象传媒 Sport has been told that decision could be announced later this week.
