Hibernian granted an extra 2,000 tickets for League Cup final

Celtic and Hibs will meet at Hampden on 19 December
Hibernian say they are pleased their "persistence with the SPFL paid off" after being granted 2,000 extra tickets for the League Cup final against Celtic at Hampden on 19 December.
The Easter Road club had argued for an even split at the near 52,000-capacity national stadium, citing "sporting integrity" and "our history of selling out tickets for cup finals".
Their initial batch of 17,500 sold out.
"We're pleased to have been given a greater allocation," Hibs said.
"After constant discussion with the SPFL, we have been given just over 2,000 extra tickets for the match. We are happy more of our supporters will be able to attend the game at Hampden Park and that our persistence with the SPFL paid off."
With Premiership matches rescheduled for both finalists, each club faces playing nine matches in December. Hibs head coach Jack Ross has criticised the SPFL for having "no appetite" to listen to concerns over the congested fixture list.
League games from the final weekend have been shifted to the following midweek. Hibs will host Aberdeen and Celtic visit St Mirren on 22 December.
