Shrewsbury Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers
Top scorer Luke Leahy and Rob Street scored the goals as Shrewsbury Town won for the first time in nine League One games by beating Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers.
Former Rovers skipper Leahy headed Steve Cotterill's side into a third-minute lead against his old club.
Street, on loan from Crystal Palace, then drilled in Shrewsbury's second goal eight minutes into the second half.
Rovers now go into their last match of the season on Sunday without a win in six, but for large parts Barton's team were on top.
The Pirates boss introduced all five substitutes after going 2-0 down, including League One player of the year Aaron Collins.
And, with 20 minutes remaining, Josh Coburn bagged his 10th goal since joining on loan from Middlesbrough last September.
Rovers piled on the pressure in a bid to rescue a point and Collins' clever pass played in Coburn, but the striker was denied an equaliser by goalkeeper Marko Marosi's superb save.
That ensured long-time play-off contenders Shrewsbury won their final home game of the campaign - and Cotterill's side can still finish in the top 10 if they win at Lincoln on Sunday and Charlton lose at Cheltenham.
