Partick Thistle handed Cove Rangers a bruising sixth defeat in a row to move to within a point of third-top Ayr United in the Scottish Championship.
Scott Tiffoney started the rout by firing an 11th-minute opener and Steven Lawless thumped the second before the break.
Shots from Brian Graham and Kevin Holt - and a Daniel Mullen header in the finals seconds - added to Cove's pain.
It ends Cove's run of six games without loss against Thistle.
Paul Hartley's side are without a win in eight and remain one point ahead of Hamilton Academical at the foot of the table, but have played two more games, and five behind Arbroath.
Thistle end a run of three games without a win.
