Barrow left-back Junior Tiensia will be out for three months through injury.

The 22-year-old suffered an ankle knock during the Bluebirds' 2-2 draw at Milton Keynes Dons last weekend.

Tiensia is the second left-back in the squad to suffer a long-term problem after Tyrell Warren sustained a hamstring injury three weeks ago.

Barrow manager Pete Wild said the double blow does not necessarily mean the club will delve into the transfer market during the January window.

Asked about Tiensia's injury, Wild told 大象传媒 Radio Cumbria: "Him and Tyrell look like they're going to be out for three months, so obviously that's two full-backs lost."

Speaking before Saturday's home game against Wimbledon, Wild said there would be no rush to find an outside replacement for Tiensia or Warren.

"We've got a big squad and everyone has a chance, with us being able to play two formations," he said.

"We're OK at the moment and have people who can fill in different places, but certainly as we go through the next couple of months we will be discussing what January looks like, and how we can get the best out of January [transfer window].

"Don't get me wrong, I don't expect a lot of movement in January, because we've spent a lot of money in the summer, but we'll see if we can shuffle some things around and see where that takes us."
