Exeter City boss Gary Caldwell is confident new signing Mo Eisa will supply the goals the club needs.

Eisa, 29, joined on loan until the end of the season from Milton Keynes Dons, having scored in each of his four League Two games this season.

The Sudan international has scored 77 goals in 228 games in total for his four previous EFL clubs.

"He's got fantastic movement in and around the box and has scored goals at League One level," Caldwell said.

"He was really keen on coming to the club - there were other clubs interested but when we spoke to him and we told him what we were trying to do here he was very interested.

"We were the only club that he wanted to come to, so we were really happy that we managed to get that done," he told 大象传媒 Radio Devon.

Exeter have scored just 21 goals in 29 League One games this season - only Shrewsbury Town and Cheltenham Town have fewer in the division.

Caldwell said Eisa is a player he has been tracking for some time to bolster his squad.

"We've looked at him in a number of windows - every window since I've been here," he added.

"Malcolm Crosby (Exeter City's chief scout) has seen him a lot of times live, I've obviously seen him myself, played against him, so we know his qualities, and thankfully this time we've managed to get it over the line."
