Sutton United 1-2 Wrexham: Elliot Lee scores late to give Wrexham win
Wrexham secured their first win in a month as they beat struggling Sutton 2-1 at VBS Community Stadium.
After four straight defeats the Welsh side were in desperate need of a win, and Will Boyle gave them the lead in first-half stoppage time.
Sutton improved after the break and deservedly levelled through Charlie Lakin with 74 minutes on the clock.
But Wrexham's top goalscorer Elliot Lee came to the rescue, squeezing the ball into the near post to seal victory.
Defeat for Sutton - coupled with a win for Forest Green Rovers - sends the hosts bottom of League Two, while Wrexham rise to fourth.
