Sheffield United have signed midfielder Callum O'Hare on a four-year contract with the option of an additional year.

The 26-year-old, who first joined the Sky Blues on loan from Aston Villa in August 2019, officially left Coventry City on 1 July after his contract expired.

He missed the first part of last season because of an ACL knee injury, sustained at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day 2022.

But he helped the Championship side reach the FA Cup semi-finals, in which they lost on penalties in a Wembley thriller with Manchester United.

"I am buzzing to be here," said O'Hare, who links up with former Sky Blues team-mate Gustavo Hamer, who joined the Blades in August 2023. "It is a big club.

"I had some interest from some other teams and other leagues but I just thought this was the right step in my career so I can't wait to go out there now and play."

O'Hare scored 22 goals across his 182 games in all competitions for the Sky Blues.

He joins Kieffer Moore, who signed from Bournemouth on Monday.
