Wotton urges Torquay to 'play our style'
Torquay United manager Paul Wotton has urged his team to play their style of football after defeat in their second game of the season.
The Gulls went down 1-0 at Farnborough in National League South on Saturday.
Wotton said his team only started looking like themselves in the final quarter of the match.
"We鈥檝e got to keep implementing the style we want," he told 大象传媒 Radio Devon.
"We didn鈥檛 really do that until the final 25 minutes of the game when we started moving the ball and dragging Farnborough over the pitch and started getting a lot of joy."
It was Wotton's second competitive game in charge of Torquay, after a 2-1 win at home to Enfield on the opening day.
"We didn't do the fundamentals well enough first half," he said.
"I鈥檓 convinced we had a stonewall penalty when Cody Cooke is grappled to the ground. But there鈥檚 absolutely nothing in the game.
"It鈥檚 disappointing because second half I thought we did do enough to get something out of it."
Torquay will travel to Bath City on Tuesday.
