Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark has joined Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg for a fee thought to be around 拢10m.

The 19-year-old arrived at Anfield from Newcastle United in August 2021 and went on to make his senior debut a year late against Bournemouth.

He made 14 appearances for the club, including as a substitute against Chelsea in last season's Carabao Cup final.

There is a 17.5% sell-on clause in the deal and an option for the Reds to match any future bids for Clark.

A club statement said: "Everyone at LFC wishes Bobby all the best for his future."

Clark will reunite with former Liverpool assistant boss Pep Lijnders, who is now in charge of Salzburg after leaving Anfield alongside manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of 2023-24.

How do you feel about Clark's departure, having been one of "Klopp's kids" last season? Is it a good move for the teenager or should he have stayed at Anfield? Are you worried about any other youngsters leaving Liverpool?
