Port Vale have agreed to sign midfielder Ryan Croasdale on a two-year deal when his contract with Stockport County expires.

The 29-year-old, who will complete the move on 1 July, made 38 appearances last season, scoring twice, as County won promotion from League Two.

He is Vale's second signing since their relegation to the fourth tier, following former AFC Wimbledon winger Ronan Curtis.

"He is a team player that sets the highest standards for himself and having experienced promotion with Stockport County last season, there鈥檚 no doubt that he will add depth and experience to our midfield unit," Vale boss Darren Moore

"We have fought off a lot of clubs, noticeable clubs, including some at League One level, to secure his services."

Croasdale began his career at Preston North End and had spells at Sheffield Wednesday, Kidderminster and AFC Fylde before joining Stockport in 2020.
