Norwich City have made their fifth summer signing by bringing in Croatia Under-21 international Ante Crnac.

The 20-year-old striker has signed from Polish League side Rakow Czestochowa on a four-year deal with the Canaries, with the option of an additional year.

After starting the season with a goal, Crnac has since made four appearances, playing his last game for them in Sunday's goalless draw at Gornik Zabrze.

鈥淚 cannot describe how excited I am," "The club showed me a plan of how they see me, how they want to develop me. I really like that idea and we all decided, my family and I, that it seems like a perfect step for me.鈥

Crnac follows the previous four summer signings for a Norwich side who have picked up just one point from their opening two league games after being beaten in the Championship play-off semi-finals in May.

They have also signed Ghanaian midfielder Amankwah Forson from Austrian club RB Salzburg and three defenders - Manchester City's England Under-21 international Callum Doyle on a season's loan, Aston Villa's Ben Chrisene on a four-year deal and Jose Cordoba from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia for an undisclosed fee.

"Ante is someone we have been tracking for some time," said Norwich sporting director Ben Knapper. "He is a young player who will need time to adapt to his new surroundings, team-mates and style of play, but can have success here. He is a real asset that we feel we can develop into a player for the highest level."
