Sheffield United and Wrexham charged by FA after confrontation
Sheffield United and Wrexham have been charged by the Football Association (FA) following a mass confrontation during their Carabao Cup game on 13 August.
A scuffle broke out between the two sides during injury time, with the Blades going on to win the match 4-2.
The FA said: "It is alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players did not behave in an improper and/or provocative way in the 94th minute."
Championship club Sheffield United and League One side Wrexham have until Wednesday, 21 August to respond to the charges.
