Carlisle United head coach Mike Williamson says he will "find a solution" to his side's dire form at Brunton Park.

Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Cheltenham Town was a 14th loss in 17 league matches at home, and leaves the Cumbrians 23rd in League Two.

They have picked up just four points from seven league games on their own ground this season.

"The boys are giving everything and it's not quite working yet, but we will find a solution," Williamson told 大象传媒 Radio Cumbria.

The loss to Cheltenham leaves Carlisle with just eight points from 14 league games and three points adrift of safety already.

They are now winless in seven games since victory in Williamson's first game in charge at Swindon Town last month.

But the former Milton Keynes Dons boss is determined to turn around the difficult situation.

"This is an incredibly well supported club and a lot of the fans are behind the team," he said.

"Of course, there will be disgruntled supporters but I can only say our focus and desire to turn it around started from day one and we'll continue that."
