Plymouth fined 拢45,000 for pitch invasion
Plymouth Argyle have been fined 拢45,000 for a pitch invasion that took place at the end of last season against Hull City.
Fans poured onto the pitch at Home Park after the final whistle went in a 1-0 win to Argyle, in early May, which confirmed the club's safety in the Championship.
As well as imposing the fine, the Football Association has warned the club over its future conduct.
"Supporters were reminded before, during and after the game not to enter the field of play as it is a criminal offence and will bring charges to the football club," Argyle said
"While we understand the joy we all felt after securing our Championship survival for another season, these charges are not budgeted for.
"In line with our sustainable values, we will need to fund this significant fee out of the facilities improvement budget and, in the worst-case scenario, from player trading."
