Luke Williams has paid tribute to "incredible man" Craig Bellamy after the new Wales head coach spent time at Swansea City.
Bellamy watched Swansea's 3-0 Championship win over Preston North End at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday after visiting the Welsh club's training ground last week.
The Swans have Welsh internationals Ben Cabango, Liam Cullen and Ollie Cooper in their squad.
"He has paid a visit to us and he is an incredible man as well," said Williams.
"It was a great day. I learnt a few things as well to be quite honest. So I hope he had a good impression of the players [against Preston] and I'm sure he did.
"Let's see what happens in the next international camp."
Swansea goalkeeper Lawrence Vigoroux is confident Bellamy will be a success with Wales having worked with him at Burnley last season.
Bellamy was assistant to Vincent Kompany and then served as interim boss after the Belgian departed for Bayern Munich.
鈥淚 think he will do really well,鈥 said Vigoroux, who joined Swansea from Burnley in July.
鈥淔or me, he鈥檚 a very good coach. He took the role of interim head coach at the beginning of pre-season.
鈥淗is ideas were brilliant and I think that can only be good for the country of Wales to have someone like that as the manager."
