Flowers switches clubs for Alvechurch job
Former Southampton, Blackburn and England goalkeeper Tim Flowers has been named as the new Alvechurch manager.
The Southern League Premier Central club is his fourth in just over a year, following Gloucester City, Bromsgrove Sporting and Redditch United.
Flowers, 57, has left third-placed Redditch to take over at Alvechurch, who are just above the relegation places in the same division.
He will take charge for the first time in Saturday's home league game against Bedford Town.
"We would like to thank Redditch for the way in which they dealt with our approach," said a club statement.
