Norwich City executive director Zoe Webber has been appointed to the board of the English Football League.

She will join Middlesbrough chief executive Neil Bausor and Preston North End director Peter Ridsdale as representatives of the Championship clubs.

Webber has worked in football for over 20 years, been a board member at Norwich since 2022, and is also a trustee of the club's Community Sports Foundation charity.

"I鈥檓 looking forward to working with board colleagues and clubs at a time when there are so many important issues to navigate," she said.

"I also hope to be able to provide a fresh perspective across several key areas of our work."

EFL chair Rick Parry said Webber had a "sound understanding" of the football "landscape" from both a club and league perspective.

She has previously been an alternate director on the EFL board and involved with its commercial committee.
