Tranmere Rovers have signed goalkeeper Reuben Egan on a one-year contract.

The 19-year-old joins Rovers on a free transfer after departing Irish club Athlone Town in January.

Egan : "It鈥檚 amazing, I鈥檓 delighted to be here. Nigel Adkins has been brilliant with me. Hopefully I鈥檒l build up my experience, get involved and get a good season under my belt.

He joins midfielder Saidou Khan, who completed a loan move earlier on Friday from fellow League Two side Swindon Two for the rest of the season

The 28-year-old made 33 appearances for Swindon last season but has yet to feature in any match this term.

Khan : "It just feels like you鈥檙e in a family club at Tranmere, and that鈥檚 what it鈥檚 about.

"I want to be in an environment where I feel like I can develop as a player and as a person and I think it鈥檚 the right place to do that."
