鈥淗opefully we can kick on and compete with the best in the league.鈥

Caernarfon are expected to receive around 拢700,000 in prize money from Uefa for reaching the second qualifying round.

Davies believes money should be invested off the pitch 鈥 improvements to their home ground The Oval 鈥 as well as strengthening the playing squad.

鈥淗opefully now with the money that鈥檚 come in we can invest in it wisely on and off the pitch,鈥 Davies said.

鈥淢aybe the structure around getting the pitch up to the standard we need to play European games, that will be one of the priorities.

鈥淭hen trying to see how we can invest on the pitch as well because there鈥檚 no point having everything off the pitch if we can鈥檛 be successful on it.

鈥淚t鈥檚 just getting that balance right and I鈥檓 sure we鈥檒l have many conversations over the coming weeks over how that looks.鈥

They had qualified for Europe for the first time in their history when in May they beat Penybont 3-1 in the Cymru Premier Play-Off final.

鈥淧roud is the word I鈥檇 use,鈥 said Davies of Caernarfon鈥檚 achievements over recent weeks.

鈥淚t鈥檚 been an unbelievable journey and something that we鈥檒l cherish forever.

鈥淔rom when we beat Penybont to where we are now, history has been made.鈥
