Wolves are in talks with Celta Vigo over a 30m euros deal for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Boss Gary O'Neil has been looking for a number nine since arriving at Wolves last summer and Larsen fits the bill.
While a deal is not imminent, 大象传媒 Sport understands Wolves are hopeful they can get one done for the Norway international.
Larsen scored 16 goals for club and country last season, 13 in the league, as Celta finished 14th in La Liga.
He started his career at Sarpsborg in Norway before moving to Dutch club Groningen, scoring 24 goals in 67 appearances.
Celta paid a reported 11m euros to take him to Spain in 2022 and he has scored 18 times in 74 games.
Wolves have already signed winger Rodrigo Gomes on a five-year deal from Braga, while teenage right-back Pedro Lima will join from Brazilian side Sport Recife on 1 July.
