Matt Loaring's stoppage time penalty ensured a first point of the season for Guernsey FC as they drew 2-2 with Sutton Common Rovers.

Sam Murray headed in Niall Hainsworth's cross to put the islanders ahead after 26 minutes in South London.

Two goals in seven minutes appeared to turn the game in Sutton's favour as substitute Noah Africa tapped in after Adam Aziz's 65th-minute shot had been saved.

Aziz then put the hosts in front from the penalty spot after Jacques Cauvin fouled Jayden Smith.

But Loaring was on hand to convert form the spot after Cauvain was fouled in the Sutton box.

The point moves Guernsey up to 16th place in the Isthmian League South Central table having lost their opening two matches.
