Bristol City have appointed Romaney Pinnock as their first head of women's football.

, the Robins confirmed the new position will oversee a fresh strategy for the women's side including the development of home-grown players as well as increasing the supporter base.

"Bristol City feels like the type of football club that I鈥檒l be proud to be part of 鈥 from their approach to growing the women鈥檚 game, to their community engagement, and everything in between," Pinnock said.

She joins the club after just over a year as head of women鈥檚 football at the South African Football Association.
