Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner is close to a loan move to Crystal Palace.

The 30-year-old is being allowed to leave after Forest brought in Carlos Miguel from Corinthians earlier this summer.

There is no option for Palace to buy the USA international.

Sam Johnstone's £10m move from Palace to Wolves has left the Eagles needing to bring in another goalkeeper to compete with Dean Henderson.

Turner only moved to the City Ground from Arsenal for £10m last summer and he has made 21 appearances for Forest.
