Wolves sign striker Larsen on loan from Celta Vigo

Wolves have completed the signing of Norway striker Jorgen Strand Larsen from Spanish side Celta Vigo on an initial loan deal.

The 24-year-old has joined for a loan fee of 拢2.5m, with the deal automatically becoming permanent until 2029 for 拢23m if certain clauses are triggered.

Larsen had a medical on Monday having scored 16 goals for Celta last season, including 13 in the league, as they finished 13th in La Liga.

He previously played for Sarpsborg in Norway before moving to Dutch club Groningen.

Sporting director Matt Hobbs said: 鈥淗e鈥檚 a great guy, who鈥檚 got a really good charisma and a great personality, and although he鈥檚 still young, still learning and still developing, he鈥檚 shown that he can score goals, and puts a lot of work and running in for the rest of the team.
