Swansea City are interested in a loan deal for Brentford's Myles Peart-Harris.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder made five senior appearances under Thomas Frank last season before joining Portsmouth on loan for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.

Peart-Harris scored twice in 12 appearances for John Mousinho's side as they won the League One title.

He also netted six times in 47 outings on loan at Forest Green Rovers during the 2022-23 season.

And 大象传媒 Sport Wales understands Swans boss Luke Williams is now keen to bring Chelsea academy product Peart-Harris to south Wales on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Peart-Harris was an unused substitute as Brentford started their Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, although he was left out of the Bees' squad for their 2-0 defeat by Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The Swans have recruited goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux, striker Zan Vipotnik, attacking midfielder Eom Ji-Sung, midfielder Goncalo Franco, defender Nelson Abbey and winger Florian Bianchini this summer.

Swansea also hope to add a new goalkeeper to their ranks before Friday's transfer deadline after Andy Fisher underwent groin surgery, with Williams' men working on a loan deal for DC United's Tyler Miller.

Speaking after Swansea's 1-1 draw with Cardiff City on Sunday, Williams said the club could yet add to their squad prior to Friday's 23:00 BST transfer deadline.

"We're closing in on a goalkeeper, but I can't really say anything more on that at the moment," he said.

"I think we're probably close to being done [in the transfer window], but I think there still will be some movement."

Swansea host Wycombe Wanderers in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night (19:45 BST) before travelling to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday (15:00 BST) for their final game before the international break.
