League Two side Crewe to look for new investment

Last season's beaten League Two play-off finalists Crewe Alexandra are looking for new investment.
Alex chairman Charles Grant confirmed in an open letter that it is time "to seek additional financial support".
American-owned management firm General Sports Worldwide will lead the process, which "will not be rushed".
"In an increasingly competitive environment, our ambition is to push even harder to help our club rise up the pyramid," Grant told the .
"Crewe Alexandra boasts significant assets. We aim to put the club in a better place to realise its great potential. That is why we intend to explore all options to attract new investment."

"Only the right investors, with the right intentions, will be considered," added Grant, who has been on the board since 2012.
After three years out of English football's third tier, Crewe were denied the chance to return to League One when they lost 2-0 to Crawley in the League Two play-off final in May.
The Alex have already made six additions in the summer transfer window including a loan deal for Aston Villa goalkeeper Filip Marschall and striker Omar Bogle who was released by fellow League Two outfit Newport County.
Lee Bell's side begin the 2024-25 campaign next Saturday away at Barrow.
