Leeds United have signed Japan midfielder Ao Tanaka from German side Fortuna Dusseldorf and defender Isaac Schmidt from Swiss club St Gallen.
Tanaka, 25, has scored eight goals in 27 games for Japan and scored the winner against Spain at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He has moved for an undisclosed fee and signed a four-year deal at Elland Road.
Schmidt, 24, has also signed a four-year deal after Leeds agreed a £2.5m fee with St Gallen.
Primarily a full-back, Schmidt is able to play across the back line and provides defensive cover for head coach Daniel Farke following the departures of Archie Gray, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Luke Ayling this summer.
He becomes Leeds' eighth and final signing of the summer transfer window and will wear the number 33 shirt this season.
