Carlisle have signed winger Jordan Jones from League One side Wigan.
The 29-year-old Northern Ireland international moves to the League Two club on a three-year deal.
Jones came through the Middlesbrough academy before a move to Kilmarnock in 2016 sparked his career into life, playing 146 games for the Scottish club.
An unproductive move to Rangers and loan spell at Sunderland followed before Jones joined Wigan in 2021, playing over 50 times, either side of loans at St Mirren and back at Kilmarnock.
"He’s a really positive, attack-minded player who I’m hoping will bring some creativity, assists and add some goals to our team," manager Paul Simpson
"He’s played at a high level, and had a really good career to date and I’m hoping he can continue that at Carlisle United."
Carlisle have won one and lost two of their opening three games of the new season and host Tranmere on Saturday.
