Scotland's Martin Laird faded from contention with a poor final round as Viktor Hovland secured his first PGA Tour title at the Puerto Rico Open.
Laird, 37, started one shot off overnight leader Hovland but carded a three-over-par round of 75 to slip to sixth overall.
Hovland, 22, sunk a 25-foot birdie putt on the final hole to claim victory over American Josh Teater by one shot.
"It's incredible, a special feeling," said the Norwegian.
Hovland led by three shots at the turn but triple-bogeyed the par-three 11th after needing three shot just to reach the fringe of the green.
"I just suck at chipping," he said. "I definitely need to work on my short game and was definitely exposed there."
However, Hovland then chipped in for eagle at the 15th before hitting his winning putt to finish clear of Teater on 20 under after a round of 70.
