Great Britain's men's and women's teams each claimed a second straight victory in the Pro League in New Zealand.

Having beat Australia on Saturday for their first win of the season, Tessa Howard's two goals handed Great Britain women a 2-0 win over New Zealand.

The men's team fought back from 1-0 down against Australia to win 2-1, following up Saturday's 5-2 victory over New Zealand.

Sam Ward and Lee Morton were on target against the home side in Christchurch.

The win moves Britain's men up to third in the table with two games in hand on India in first place and Spain in second.

Meanwhile, the women's victory moves them above New Zealand to seventh, although the majority of teams above them have played at least two games more.

Giselle Ansley scored the only goal as Great Britain women beat Australia on Saturday, while Zach Wallace, James Oates, Will Calnan, Nick Bandurak and Rupert Shipperley were all on the scoresheet as the men won comfortably against New Zealand.

The matches are part of a mini tournament in which the Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand men's and women's teams face each other twice over the next week.

GB women are next in action against Australia on Friday, while the men take on New Zealand later that day.
