Great Britain remain bottom of Group A at the Ice Hockey World Championship after losing 3-0 against Switzerland in Prague.

Nico Hischier opened the scoring before Dean Kukan doubled Switzerland's advantage in the first period.

Nino Niederreiter sealed victory before the end of the second period as GB failed to score for the second consecutive game.

GB's two tournament goals so far came in their opening defeat by Canada, while they have now conceded 15 in three games.

They face Denmark in their next Group A game on Friday.

There are 16 teams competing for the world title, split initially across two round-robin groups.

The top four teams in both groups will progress to the quarter-finals, while the two sides with the worst records after the group stage will be relegated from the top tier to Division I Group A for the 2025 championship.
