  1. How do the Park World Championships work?published at 18:28 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

Park skating takes place in a bowl, in which competitors will show off their best tricks and skills to earn points from the judges based on their difficulty and originality.

61 women and 99 men are in with a chance of taking down the competition, with the best eight from each after a series of heats making the finals, where they will get four 45-second runs to show the judges what they can do.

Many of the world’s best skateboarders are involved, including Sky Brown who, at just 11 years of age, is looking to become Team GB’s youngest ever Olympian when the sport makes its debut at the Tokyo Olympics next year.
