    Jean-Eric Vergne, the double championship winner, says: "I think I take 10 years of my life in one weekend, yesterday was stressful and it was aggressive at the start, and then I was managing the situation at the end, and they [Evans and Di Grassi] both crashed, and I won.

    "There's so much emotion running in my body right now I feel proud to be in this team and I'm so happy to have won it again."

    Race winner Robin Frijns, says: "Last time I scored points was a win in Paris and then four races with no points, but I'm satisfied it all came together again for the team as they work really hard.

    "The team was a bit down and I was a bit down, and I just wanted it so bad. I can go home and prepare for next season on a good note."
